I joined WSA 2020, and I was learning, but I wasn’t fully committed to it. There were a lot of moving parts, for a few years, moving from Jamaica to Canada, going to school and figuring out life as you’d have it. I paused trading for a few years and recently, really started taking it seriously. It might be that I’m getting older, but regardless, I never gave up. The webinars have been fantastic and shed a lot of light on major knowledge and psychological setbacks I faced.
Joining the WSA FB group was a game changer because it gave me a sense of community and the thought that I’m not the only one facing these setbacks, or having the same setups, of thinking the same way and viewing the markets for bigger feats. Jumping in on Chart and Chills has also been amazing because it’s like I’m there with a bunch of people on a long journey, getting guidance from a tour guide (Cue).
My technical analysis and understanding have grown significantly since I’ve been taking more time to watch webinars, join the Chart and Chills that I can, and also spend more time on the charts, perfecting my craft. My psychology and mental resilience have been increasing, and I’m more comfortable holding trades longer and entering more accurately. Overall, I have become a better trader over time, though I have not withdrawn as yet.
This month I finally passed my 50k challenge, and I am super grateful for that. I’m en route to withdraw in a few days, and I’m looking forward to it, because once it hits, then the next phase to level up and share the success will be monumental. So, what does WSA mean to me? It is a hub curated by a trading style that is filled with knowledge, accountability and motivation.
